Selva brasileira

botanical risography
selection

Selva brasileira is small photographic series taken in Mata Atlântica and Amazon rainforest in Brazil. From the original rainforest less than ten percent just remained today at the Atlantic coast. Beyond that 20 percent of the total Amazon rainforest were irretrievably destroyed in the past. In this project two layers of plant pictures were merged to gain more depth and to point out the variety of organic and graphical shapes that nature offers. The series was produced by the soy-based risography printing and is for sale.
